Marley, a handsome Labrador which was left tied to a sanctuary’s gate in a very terrified state. Now he’s very happy and much more relaxed in a nice family.

Spotty is a very intelligent hunting dog which was found in a pitiful condition in the Mtahleb valley. He’s now living in Germany with a new family.

Tommy was found at Ghar Hasan, where somebody had thrown him amidst the cliffs, a family instantly fell in love with his crystal blue eyes and was adopted straight away.

Kim was found roaming the streets with a large growth on the side of her abdomen. Initially she was adopted by the staff of the Animal Welfare but than she was adopted by a proper family after being treated. Kim brought a nice surprise to the family since she gave birth to gorgeous Sammy which will keep on living with his mommy in the new family.

Max was reported to be tight on a roundabout in the vicinities of Tal-Barrani Road. He was extremely skinny and in a very poor condition. He is now living happily with a kind man who’s very fond of dogs.

Roy was found trapped within a small bricked cage! He could just peep from between the edges of 2 bricks. His happiness at seeing the officers trying to free him was something incredible. He’s now living in a family along with two children.

Ben looked very troubled and traumatised while running crazily along the busy streets at Handaq Industrial Estate. He is now much more relaxed living within a family.

Jojo was seen looking lonely and distraught in B’Buga, but thanks to the intensive promotion by the Department, his owner came took him back home.

These pups were abandoned in a sealed carton box in a remote field near Qajjenza. They were adopted immediately at the Milk Fest (Fiera Tal-Halib).

Sammy the rabbit was hiding inside some trailers where her former owners had left him. She was readily adopted by the officer who found her and is now mummy to 6 cute bunnies.

These 2 pups along with 5 others were left in a sealed carton box next to a skip. A passerby heard them whining and the officers went immediately to their rescue. They were all adopted at a fair in which the Animal Welfare took part in.

Cliff got his name from Dingli Cliffs, the place from which he was saved after being savagely thrown there and left howling for some time. He’s now living a very different life in Germany.

Kim, the Alsatian cross was found roaming in the whereabouts of Manikata, once again another officer took pity on her and homed her with his family along with Butch, another stray which he had found before.

Sylvester (due to his similarity with the Looney Tunes character) went unnoticed when a worker collected his 4 brothers to be taken in a safer place and left him alone. He is now living a very spoiled life along with his new human mummy!

These lovely pigeons were left in a garbage bag next to an animal lover’s dust bin in the early morning. The Officers went on site and took them to their new home along with other pigeons.

Bonnie & Clyde are somewhat of a new mascot for the Animal Welfare Department. After being saved from the scorching August midday sun where they were left tied to a gate, these 2 Samoyeds were adopted by the Young Offenders Section. Bonnie & Clyde are now residing with these youngsters offering them friendship and love.

Bongo was roaming the streets with his dying mother while he was still a couple of months old. Now he's is a very spoiled member of an animal loving family!

JD was abandoned at a very young age thus he looked very troubled. After being picked from the Officers, he’s now living with a member of the Animal Welfare staff.
